When Do Oligio X and Ultraformer III Results Appear, and How Long Do They Last?

2 min read

Oligio X and Ultraformer III can produce an early feeling of firmness, but collagen-related change usually develops over weeks to months. A fixed promise about the number of months is not accurate because age, skin quality, weight change, lifestyle and the treatment plan all affect duration.

Studies of monopolar RF and microfocused ultrasound report continued change over several months, but study averages do not guarantee an individual result. [2][3][4]

What causes an immediate change

Heat can create temporary tissue contraction, while mild swelling can make the face look fuller. The appearance immediately after treatment is not the final result.

When should results be assessed

Comparison is more useful after the skin has settled and had time to respond. Photographs should use the same angle, lighting and expression.

Why duration varies

Weight change, sun exposure, smoking, sleep and ongoing ageing all influence the result. Energy treatment does not stop the ageing process.

How STC follows progress

We document the intended treatment areas before treatment and reassess at an appropriate interval. Another session is based on the observed response, not impatience during the first week.

Frequently asked questions

No immediate change means no result

Not necessarily. Collagen remodelling takes time and should be reviewed at the planned follow-up.

Does the result last one year for everyone

No. Some studies report improvement over several months to a year, but individual duration varies.

When should photographs be taken

Take baseline and follow-up photographs with similar light, angle and facial expression.

STC does not promise identical immediate or long-lasting results for everyone. We define what will be assessed before treatment and review it at a biologically reasonable time.
