RF or HIFU Before Botox and Filler? How STC Sequences Treatments

When tightening energy and injectables are planned for the same area, STC generally performs RF or HIFU first, then Botox or filler. Energy is delivered to the native tissue before a product is placed or muscle activity is modified.
If you have already been injected, there is no responsible one-size-fits-all waiting rule. We review the product, site, date and planned device before setting the interval [1].
Why is the device usually first?
RF and HIFU involve contact, pressure and energy through tissue. Treating first preserves the original anatomy for assessment. Filler can then address structural volume that tightening cannot replace, while Botox addresses selected muscle activity.
Can they be done on the same day?
Consensus guidance supports combination treatment with deliberate sequencing, generally placing energy-based treatment before injections [1]. STC may still separate visits when swelling, treatment intensity or overlapping areas would make precision and monitoring harder.
What if you recently had injections?
Provide the product name, dose, exact site and date. We can then avoid unnecessary pressure or heat and choose an interval based on the real overlap rather than a generic calendar rule.
Sequence the goal, not the package
If laxity is dominant, tighten first and reassess how much volume is genuinely needed. If volume loss is the main issue, a tightening device may not be the first answer. Anatomy sets the order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will HIFU dissolve filler?
It is not accurate to promise either definite dissolution or zero interaction. Device depth, area and filler type matter, so timing should be planned.
Can Oligio X and Botox be done together?
They can be combined in selected plans, usually with the device first, but same-day treatment is not necessary for everyone.
How many days should I wait?
There is no universal number. Send STC the exact recent treatment history so the interval can match the site and device.
Tell STC about both plans at the start. We sequence treatment as tighten, reassess, then add volume or muscle treatment only where it remains necessary.
